Competitions

Organized by the Nexe Equestrian Club and held at the Feričanci Hippodrome, the international competition in single, pair and four-in-hand driving together with the open championship of the Republic of Croatia in single and pair driving took place from September 2 to 4, 2022. Visitors enjoyed entertainment with a concert by the ‘Best Croatian Tamburitza Players’.

The attractive three-day international competition was held from July 21 to 23, 2023 at the Feričanci Hippodrome, and attracted several hundred visitors with interesting sports, family content and a rich gastronomic offer. The impeccable organization of the Nexe Equestrian Club was complemented by the offer of local family farms with an evening performance by the Tamburitza band ‘Šokci’.

Our domestic competitors achieved excellent results among foreign competition:

Stjepan Ergović won the single harness at the international level and became the overall winner of the tournament in this category; as the tournament counted towards the national championship, he also became the champion of Croatia.
Dario Dorušaktook second place in the pair harness competition.
Josip Zirn won the category for young horses up to six years old.

The last day of the tournament was opened by nine-year-old Ivan Dorušak with a precision driving exhibition.

Thanks to these results, KK Nexe became the most successful trophy-winning club in harness driving in Croatia this year, despite being the youngest in active competition.

Following the example of the previous year, the competition was held from July 12 to 14, 2023 at the Feričanci Hippodrome, attracting several hundred visitors with interesting sports, family content and a rich gastronomic offer. The impeccable organization of the Nexe Equestrian Club was evident both through the contribution of local family farms and an evening performance by ‘Slavonski Lola’. It is worth noting that our domestic competitors achieved excellent results among foreign competition in the overall standings of the Croatian Championship:

Stjepan Ergović took first place in the overall standings for single harness in the CH
David Sušac took first place in the overall standings for pair harness in the CH
Dario Dorušak took third place in the overall standings for pair harness in the CH
Ivan Dorušak took second place in the junior CH

The Croatian harness driving national team won a silver medal at the Balkan Championship. Fronted by Antun Živić, the driver of the Đakovo and Lipik State Stud Farm, the team was formed by David Sušac and Dario Dorušak, members of KK Nexe, with Stjepan Ergović as the team leader.

David Sušac won an individual bronze medal at the Balkan Championship.

This annual family event, which is rapidly becoming a tradition, was held from June 6 to 8, 2025 at the Feričanci Hippodrome. It includes three days of top sport, adrenaline and good fun! Everything can be found at the tournament: local contributions, a children’s programme, a relaxed atmosphere and music. In addition, a three-day competition for children was held for the first time in Croatia.
